			ABC 20/20. Winter 2004 John Stossel in his "Myth Busters" segment meets with the Polar Bears to dispell the popular misconception that getting wet and cold in the winter causes colds.

			CBS The Early Show. Winter 2004 The Club appearing with Dave Price the weather man.
			In 1991-92 two NYU students, Carole Tuerksch and Jimmy Garland spent two seasons doing a film project on the Polar Bear Club and Coney Island in the dead of winter. The film, Side Shows by the Sea Shore: Polar Bears and Others, eventually aired numerous times on The Discovery Channel and PBS. Aside from capturing the spirit of the somewhat desolate culture of Coney Island in the off season prior to its recent re-discovery and development, it is notable for its views of some long lost treasures, like the Thunderbolt roller coaster.
